Halloween is one week from today!
It must have snuck up on me because I feel completely unprepared.
We aren't having our annual youth group Halloween party (sad, I know)
but we are having the kids wear costumes to the Bible study that night, and I will be passing out candy to trick-or-treaters, and I will be decorating.
The trouble is:
Michael and I don't have costumes.
We love Halloween.
We have had some pretty awesome costumes in the past.

Even Buster dressed up last year! |
Its my year to pick what we dress up as, and I've got nothing.
Originally, I wanted to be Kate and William, also known as, the Royals.
However, I don't really want to wear my wedding dress (or even try squeezing into it)
So that's kind of out.
Other than that, I am out of ideas.
I need your help!
Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
You could dress up as Kate without being in a wedding dress! Some little kids did it on Ellen and looked great! Let me try to find the link and send it to you...
ReplyDeleteAlso, is a bible study in costumes, with candy, really ALL that different than a Halloween party?? Haha
And on that note, Jon and I are looking for a good, basic daily devotional book.. Do you or Michael have any suggestions?
I've never done a couples costume...but I do LOVE the bra costume!

Even if it is border line inappropriate?
Hahahaha, Kitty! While that costume is quiet hilarious, it might be a little inappropriate for a Youth Group Bible Study/Halloween Party.;)
ReplyDeleteSister, its not that different, but its the principle of the matter. And I'm not going all out like usual. As for the devotional...we haven't done this one together but I read it online every now and then and the authors are on the radio station I listen to alot so I think you would really like it.
Its called "Moments with You: Daily Connections for Couples" by Dennis and Barbara Rainey. You can get order a book, or you can get them at this website.
