Like I mentioned in my last post,
this past Sunday we honored all the graduating Seniors.
Michael got to preach the morning sermon, and present the seniors with Bibles.
We had a slideshow, potluck, and a reception.
And Michael started a new tradition to commemorate the seniors each year.
At Memorial, the kids would paint their hand print on the walls - which we loved.
However, there really isn't a place in our building to do that,
plus we wanted it to remain even if the walls didn't
so Michael had the idea to use a big picture frame.
It turned out great!
He will put the group photo in the middle, and then hang it on the wall in the youth wing,
adding a new frame each year for the senior class.
Here are some other pictures from the day.
And here is the JV Class of 2012!
We are so proud of all of them!
What a wonderful tradition! I like it even better than handprints on the wall. Congrats to Michael and you for all your hard work and preparation to make it a special day for those 10 young people. P.S. His new suit looks great!
