Complainers Sometimes Prosper

So, remember that restaurant that Michael and I weren't all too pleased with a few nights ago? Well, it pays to complain a little I guess, because tonight we got a gift card to that same chain of restaurants to make up for our bad experience! Here's the thing:

I kind of have a second mom here in Houston, and she kind of works for the corporate office of the restaurant chain, and she kind of read my blog the other day, and then she totally hooked us up! Here she is with her lovely daughter Claire on our ski trip.
So tonight we got to go to Hasta la Pasta, and it was SOO DELICIOUS!! We had salads, and appetizers, and a main course, and dessert (we like food, okay!) and it was so good. Even though we had a not so good experience, I promise to not write them off (and if you are ever in the Katy/Houston should go!)
Speaking of, while Michael and I were there with Claire and her boyfriend Trey, my best friend Carrie and her family were at the exact same restaurant and we didn't even know! Small world!

Moral of the story: If you don't like something, complain. And good businesses will listen to you and try to make you happy. However, your mother will probably just tell you, "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all." Yep, been there!
